This course equips healthcare professionals with the essential skills to recognize and manage life-threatening infectious emergencies. Participants will learn to identify and treat sepsis, with a special focus on immunocompromised patients who present unique challenges in diagnosis and management. The course also covers the evaluation and treatment of pneumonia, emphasizing early recognition and appropriate antimicrobial therapy. Additionally, learners will develop expertise in managing skin and soft tissue infections, as well as identifying and treating neurological infections such as meningitis and encephalitis. Through case-based discussions and hands-on simulations, this course enhances clinical decision-making and equips providers with the tools to deliver timely, effective infectious disease care in emergency settings.
