Imran Masood, DO, is a pediatric cardiologist in the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, followed by advanced training in pediatric heart failure, transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and exercise physiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His clinical and research interests focus on exercise and sports participation in children with cardiomyopathy, heart transplants, and congenital heart disease, with the goal of improving physical health and quality of life through safe participation in physical activity.
