Abstract:
This online course provides healthcare professionals with a comprehensive understanding of otitis media and otitis externa. By the end of the course, participants will be able to define the diagnostic criteria for these common ear infections, enabling accurate identification and differentiation between the two conditions. The course also explores the underlying causes of otitis media and externa, including infectious and non-infectious factors, to enhance clinical decision-making. Additionally, participants will learn evidence-based guidelines on when and how to initiate appropriate treatment, including antimicrobial therapy, pain management, and preventive strategies. Through interactive case discussions and practical insights, this course aims to improve the diagnosis and management of otitis-related conditions in pediatric and adult patients.
