Christine Bottrell Mirzaian, MD, MPH, IBCLC, FAAP, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine at USC and a General Pediatrician at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She completed her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, and her Master’s in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She then completed her pediatrics residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and continued on as a faculty member, where she serves as the director of Newborn Services for the AltaMed General Pediatrics Clinic at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, supports mothers and infants as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in the lactation clinic, and attends in the Newborn Follow-up Program to provide developmental support for preterm and otherwise high-risk infants.
