Ana Margarida Neves, MD, MSc, PhD, has been Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, and Coordinator of the Pediatric Allergology Unit of the Department of Pediatrics.
She is sub-specialized in Pediatric Allergology, and the Pediatric Allergology Unit was accredited in 2019, as European Training Center by the European Academy of Pediatrics- EAP and Union of European Medical Specialties- UEMS.
She was visiting fellow in Necker University Hospital, in Paris, in the Department of Immunology (Director: Griscelli, Alain Fischer)
The PhD in the field of Immunology was carried out in collaboration with Cornell University.
She served as Vice President of the European Academy of Pediatrics (2017-2020), from 2020-2023 as Accreditation Officer of the European Board of Pediatrics and EACME Reviewer of UEMS.
Currently she is the Secretary of the European Training Committee-Pediatric Section and Liaison Officer, European Academy of Paediatrics/ Paediatric Section of the Union of European Medical Specialties.
