Abstract:
In this episode, Dr. Eyal Ben-Isaac interviews Dr. Sajjad Yacoob about how healthcare professionals can effectively use online medical resources. They discuss how to identify credible, evidence-based information, recognize bias, and integrate digital tools—from clinical databases to patient education platforms—into daily practice. The conversation also explores how physicians can guide parents in evaluating online health information responsibly.

Dr. Sajjad Yacoob
Dr. Sajjad Yavoob is an Attending Physician and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She completed her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by pediatric internship, residency, and service as Chief Pediatric Resident at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she brings extensive clinical and teaching expertise to the training of future pediatricians.
