Program
This residency program is a collaboration between the National Institute of Health of Armenia and the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale University. This program is the first emergency medicine residency in Armenia. It is an expedited 18-month course to train an inaugural group of emergency physicians in Armenia. These physicians already have residency training in a first specialty and are currently practicing emergency medicine in hospitals or the ambulance service. The curriculum adheres to the strict standards set by the European Society of Emergency Medicine (EUSEM).
