Tatevik Abrahamyan is a school psychologist in Armenia, with over 9 years of experience. For her master’s degree in Developmental Psychology Tatevik has graduated from Yerevan State University, Department of Developmental psychology. Now she is doing her Ph.D. research about gifted children’s education and support. She provides direct support and interventions to students, educators, and families during individual and group counseling/guidance, seminars, workshops, and training. She closely collaborates with educational professionals to improve strategies, school-wide practices, and policies during learning. Tatevik is designing and implementing various programs to help children succeed emotionally, behaviorally, and academically at school. Tatevik is a member of the school team applying a schoolwide educational program on students’ well-being and emotional assertiveness. Tatevik is acknowledged for her unconditional acceptance of children and belief that children can be the basis for many changes if they receive the right guidance and support. She believes that children are free, emotional, creative, and spontaneous and that the role of adults is to assist developing these features.
